The School successfully held a workshop on 7th June 2012, with key stakeholders to discuss the recently develop three curricula for the Directed of e-Government. The curricular are: Citizens Curriculum to enable
ordinary Kenyans access government services online, End-User Curriculum to empower government official in various ministries and departments to effectively use ICT in delivery of services and ICT Technical Curriculum to create pools of specialization in such areas as networks, databases, web development, and security. In addition to the curricula the School has developed a career progression for ICT staff in the Civil Service.
The workshop which was held at School's Corporate was officially opened by Prof. Bernard Aduda, Principal, CBPS and attended by Dr. Katherine Getao, ICT Secretary, Directorate of e-Government. Over 30 senior staff from the Directorate attended the workshop.
