NUCOMSSA stands for Nairobi University Computer Science Students Association. It is a registered students club under the School of Computing and Informatics to promote students’ social well being, leadership skills, cohesion and a forum for discussing ICT trends and other general areas in Computer Science.

It draws its membership from the current Computer Science students at the Chiromo Campus and Kenya Science Campus, University of Nairobi.

 

Objectives

  1. To organize activities that will promote the academic welfare of the members.
  2. To liaise with the stakeholders in the industry as pertains attachments and vocational training for the members so that they may gain hands on experience in the field.
  3. To sensitize the members and the society at large on the importance of information technology and the pivotal role computers play in it.
  4. To engage in activities that will promote social welfare of the members.
  5. To offer students with a platform to air their ideas on Computing.
  6. Maintain a link between the students and the school.
  7. To collaborate with other organizations in the advancement of ICT in the country.
