Two final year students at the School of Computing and Informatics excelled at the Hacking  for Global Health hackathon during the 3rd International German Forum held in Berlin in February 2017. Barke Said and Harun Kimani emerged second best in a competition that saw students from India, Canada, UAE, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya and German participate. The forum was hosted by none other than the German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
