Exploring Collaboration between FST and Thomas More University

On Friday 9th February 2024, Professor Stijn Coenen, President of Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, paid a visit to the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST). During his visit on Friday, he engaged in discussions with FST's Dean, Professor Onyari, regarding potential areas of collaboration. The focus was on exploring collaborative opportunities not only within FST but also with sister faculties at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences. Department of Biochemistry in the Faculty of Science and Technology  in collaboration with CRDF Global has organised a 3-day workshop dubbed 'Securing Innovation, Equipment and Emerging Technologies with Dual-Use Applications at the Bioscience laboratories; Faculty of Science and Technology" to be held at Arziki Conference Centre on 17th - 19th January 2024.

Knowledge is Power: 15 Graduate with PhD’s from FST at UON 70th Graduation

The 70th graduation ceremony of the University of Nairobi, held on December 15, 2023, was a celebration of academic achievement, resounding with the triumphs of over 5,000 graduating students. Among this accomplished cohort, the Faculty of Science and Technology proudly stood tall, its 159 graduates - including 15 PhDs from its eight diverse departments - a testament to the faculty's unwavering commitment to excellence.
