UON Holds First COIL Workshop in East Africa

In a landmark event for East African higher education, the University of Nairobi, Maseno University, and Dedan Kimathi University of Technology joined forces with international experts to explore the transformative potential of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and virtual exchanges. This groundbreaking workshop, the first of its kind in the region, brought together 17 universities from Kenya and beyond to prioritize these innovative approaches to internationalization at home.

Exploring Collaboration between FST and Thomas More University

On Friday 9th February 2024, Professor Stijn Coenen, President of Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, paid a visit to the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST). During his visit on Friday, he engaged in discussions with FST's Dean, Professor Onyari, regarding potential areas of collaboration. The focus was on exploring collaborative opportunities not only within FST but also with sister faculties at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
