The 69th graduation ceremony at the University of Nairobi marked an illustrious occasion filled with academic accomplishments and a touching farewell to the esteemed Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi. Held on the 22nd of September, the event saw a total of 3,982 graduands receiving degrees and diplomas, with a significant spotlight on the Faculty of Science and Technology, which boasted a remarkable achievement.
Within the Faculty of Science and Technology, an impressive number of over 800 graduands achieved Masters and Undergraduate degrees, along with 18 individuals earning their coveted PhDs. This outstanding feat was the culmination of hard work and dedication across the seven diverse departments that make up the Faculty: Chemistry, Computing and Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Earth and Climate Sciences, and Biochemistry.
