All students are invited to apply for the 2019-2020 Huawei ICT Competition Southern Africa.

Competition will commence with registration and a road show in October 2019, this will be followed by the National, Regional and finally the Global Final competitions.

There are two tracks in the competition: Network and Cloud.

In the 2019 research week conference, the College of Biological and physical science has come up with several topics to discuss on their research week. The research week will be held on 23-25 October 2019 .The deputy Vice chancellor for research, Prof. Madara, and other support team have also in the support of the  research conference .The college research theme is sciences and cross disciplinary  practices in transforming society for sustainable development. This research has aided in developing new ideas following advances in the society like resilience to disaster.
