The University celebrated the first inaugural talents day on Friday 12th March. The theme of the Day was “University of Nairobi the home of Talents.” Students and staff showcased different talents from the different categories; music, singing and poetry, ICT and engineering innovation, arts design and fashion show, karate, taekwondo and dance, modeling, catwalk, Mr and Miss Talent day and other categories like bible citation, narrative/spoken word, instrumentals and news presenters.

A former postgraduate in Crop Science from the University of Nairobi, Dr. Kenneth Monjero better known as Dr. Fun is a biotechnologist working with Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO Biotech). He is also the Founder of Fun & Education Global Network and Pioneer and Director of KALRO Science Centre Kenya. Read more

The 7th Edition of Higher Education & Career Fair 2021 was on held on Friday and Saturday 22nd-23rd January 2021. Participants had an option of either joining in person at the venue at Sarit Centre or virtually on their smart devices. The theme for this year’s event was ‘Empowering the youth to succeed in the post COVID-19 era’. Students, parents and guardians had a chance of interacting with over 70 institutions of higher learning and education stakeholders.
